“Daytreat” Teaches Healing from Inside Out

The Maui Cancer Wellness Retreats hosted a day retreat for Maui cancer survivors on November 9 at Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church in Kihei. Attendees from the past three retreats were invited to continue their wellness journey with sessions led by Dr. Bridget Bongaard, Wendy MacDonald and Paula Sandefur. Topics included relaxation through therapeutic self-hynosis, creating a vision board for “healing from within” and updated information on probiotics and nutrition.

The Maui Cancer Wellness Retreats is a Maui-based 501c3 who has provided full scholarships for cancer survivors from Maui County to attend 3 day retreats and 1 day retreats since 2017.
